I have been running for more than a year when I decided that it was time for me to move on to something higher. I decided that I should try running on a marathon. Although that seems drastic I wanted to challenge myself and the most obvious choice for a good physical challenge was to join a marathon. I realized early on that it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Running on a long distance running event is a lot more troublesome and challenging than running as a means of recreation.

Good thing that I was able to get some expert advice early on and so none of my time was actually wasted in doing something that would not result in me hitting my goals. That piece of equipment can really help me out when it comes to giving so much needed data and information for my running. I could use it to measure my performance on the field. It can measure the distance that I have covered, my speed and pace when running and even the elevation of the ground. That watch was really a huge contribution for my performance and I know that I owe a lot to it for my excellent time that I had on my first race. It really allowed me to soar and it made me more confident of my own physical capabilities when running on the field.

I have joined a couple of marathons since then and I always make sure that I use a good running watch whenever I train for one.
